In The Mind

For the final unit of my Graphic Design course at college, we were given a total of 8 questions, one of which we would choose to answer for our exam unit. The one I chose was to design appropriate graphics to advertise a TV programme called ‘In The Mind’, which looks at people’s phobia towards clowns. The exam was a total of 15 hours, in which I created the following pieces of work:

The four pieces were created from a number of different assets, including: video recordings and a photoshoot of my friends dressed up like clowns; video recordings of chattering teeth; handmade representations of some of the photographs; vector illustrations and music.

All of the footage, photographs, illustration and music were combined using the Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects and Premiere Pro), allowing me to freely fulfil my ideas to the best of my ability.

Time taken: 15 hours during the exam, 3 months of preparatory studies prior to exam
